Privacy Policy & End User License Agreement (EULA) for Gloz App

User Eligibility: This application ("Gloz" or the "App") is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing or using Gloz, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Gloz Press Inc. ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. This document combines our Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement (EULA) to outline how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data, as well as the terms governing your use of Gloz, including restrictions on User-Generated Content (UGC) and in-app purchases.

1. Definitions

• Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject) as defined by GDPR, including but not limited to your name, email address, device information, payment details, and UGC metadata.
• UGC (User-Generated Content): Any content created, uploaded, posted, shared, or transmitted by you through Gloz, including text, images, videos, audio, comments, and other multimedia content.
• In-App Purchases (IAP): Digital products, subscriptions, or services purchased within Gloz via the Apple App Store payment system.
• Prohibited Content: Content that violates applicable laws, this agreement, or our community guidelines, as detailed in Section 6.
• EEA Users: Users residing in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, entitled to GDPR protections.

2. Collection of Personal Data

2.1 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use Gloz, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data to provide and improve the App, including:

• Device information (e.g., device model, iOS version, unique device identifiers, IP address, timezone, and network type);
• Usage data (e.g., features you access, time spent on the App, content you view or interact with, and navigation patterns);
• App performance data (e.g., crash reports, error logs, and session data) to diagnose and fix technical issues;
• Analytics data (collected via Apple Analytics and third-party tools like Firebase) to understand user behavior and optimize the App experience.

2.2 Information You Provide Voluntarily

We collect personal data you choose to provide, including:

• Account information (e.g., email address, username, and profile photo) when you create an account;
• UGC (as defined above) that you post or share through the App;
• Payment information (processed by Apple App Store, we do not store your full payment details) for in-app purchases;
• Communications data (e.g., emails, support tickets, or feedback you send to info@glozpress.com);
• Preferences (e.g., notification settings, language preferences, and content filters you set).

2.3 Data Collected for In-App Purchases

For in-app purchases, we collect limited data to process and verify transactions, including:

• Your Apple ID associated with the purchase;
• Purchase history (e.g., item purchased, date/time, and amount);
• Transaction status (e.g., completed, refunded, or pending) to fulfill purchase obligations.

All payment processing is handled by Apple Inc. in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not store or have access to your credit card, debit card, or other financial information.

3. Use of Personal Data (GDPR Compliance)

We use your personal data only for the purposes outlined in this policy and based on lawful bases under GDPR, including:

• Performance of a contract: To provide and maintain the App, process in-app purchases, and fulfill our obligations to you;
• Legitimate interests: To improve the App’s functionality, analyze usage trends, respond to support requests, and enforce our terms (without overriding your fundamental rights and freedoms);
• Consent: To send marketing communications (you may withdraw consent at any time) or process sensitive data (e.g., location data for location-based features);
• Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes (e.g., responding to court orders or regulatory requests).

Specific uses of your data include:

• Providing, maintaining, and updating Gloz’s core features and services;
• Processing and fulfilling in-app purchases, including issuing refunds (in accordance with Apple’s refund policy);
• Moderating UGC to enforce our content guidelines and prevent prohibited content;
• Responding to your inquiries, feedback, or support requests (via info@glozpress.com);
• Sending important notifications (e.g., account updates, security alerts, or changes to this policy);
• Personalizing your App experience (e.g., recommending relevant content or features);
• Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, or violations of this agreement;
• Complying with applicable laws, including GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Apple App Store guidelines.

4. Data Retention & GDPR Rights (EEA Users)

4.1 Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example:

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account (we may retain anonymized data for analytics purposes);
• UGC: Retained until you delete it or we remove it for policy violations (anonymized metadata may be retained for moderation purposes);
• Transaction data: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws;
• Support communications: Retained for 2 years to resolve disputes or respond to future inquiries.

4.2 GDPR Rights for EEA Users

If you are an EEA user, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal exceptions);
• Right to restriction of processing: Request that we limit processing of your data (e.g., if you contest the accuracy of the data);
• Right to data portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format to transfer to another controller;
• Right to object: Object to processing of your data based on our legitimate interests (we will stop processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds);
• Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you have given for data processing (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest;
• Access controls (only authorized personnel can access personal data);
• Regular security audits and updates to protect against emerging threats;
• Training for our team on data protection and GDPR compliance.

While we take reasonable steps to secure your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use Gloz at your own risk.

6. User-Generated Content (UGC) Guidelines & Prohibited Content

6.1 Permitted UGC

UGC must be lawful, respectful, and appropriate for users aged 18+. You may post content that is original, non-harmful, and compliant with all applicable laws and this agreement.

6.2 Strictly Prohibited UGC

You are expressly prohibited from posting, sharing, or transmitting any UGC that:

• Adult/Obscene Content: Pornography, sexually explicit material, nudity (except for non-sexual, artistic, or educational purposes), or content depicting sexual acts, exploitation, or abuse (including child sexual abuse material, which is a criminal offense);
• Offensive/Disgusting Content: Content that is graphic, violent, gory, or depicts death, bodily harm, or suffering in a way that is likely to cause severe emotional distress or discomfort to other users;
• Gambling Content: Content promoting or facilitating illegal gambling, sports betting, lotteries, or any form of wagering (including links to gambling websites or services);
• Drugs & Controlled Substances: Content promoting, selling, or facilitating the use of illegal drugs (e.g., cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine), prescription drugs without a valid prescription, or drug paraphernalia; this includes content glorifying drug use or providing instructions for manufacturing illegal drugs;
• Political Content: Content that promotes political parties, candidates, or political campaigns; content that incites political unrest, violence, or discrimination based on political affiliation; or content that misrepresents political events or figures;
• Discriminatory Content: Content that promotes or incites discrimination, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic;
• Illegal or Harmful Content: Content that is defamatory, fraudulent, invasive of privacy, or violates intellectual property rights (e.g., copyright, trademark); content that incites violence, terrorism, or harm to others; or content that violates any local, national, or international law;
• Harassment & Abuse: Content that is threatening, harassing, bullying, or abusive towards other users (including doxxing, stalking, or blackmail);
• Misinformation: Content that is false, misleading, or deceptive (e.g., medical misinformation, conspiracy theories, or deepfakes) that could cause harm to users or the public.

6.3 UGC Moderation & Enforcement

We actively moderate UGC (both manually and via automated tools) to identify and remove prohibited content. However, we do not pre-screen all UGC, and the presence of any content on Gloz does not constitute our endorsement. If you encounter prohibited content, please report it to info@glozpress.com with the subject line "UGC Violation Report - [Content ID/Link]".

We reserve the right to: (1) remove any UGC that violates this policy; (2) issue warnings to users who post prohibited content; (3) suspend or terminate your account (without refund of in-app purchases) for repeated or severe violations; (4) report illegal content (e.g., child sexual abuse material, drug trafficking) to law enforcement authorities.

Gloz may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple Pay, analytics tools). These third parties have their own privacy policies and terms of service, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For EEA users, this agreement is also subject to applicable GDPR requirements, which shall take precedence in the event of a conflict.
